This basket is beautiful...and large enough for canes and umbrellas. We had been looking for an umbrella holder to put in our entryway that we could have umbrellas/canes in as well as a place for visitors to "stash" theirs. Metal insert makes sure it won't be ruined by water and won't crack like plastic. Super happy with this purchase.

I got the medium size but wish I got the nested two because I love it. These baskets are really well made, sturdy, and beautiful. Wanted some tasteful toy storage in our living room and this fits the bill as a functional, beautiful piece. And shipping was super super fast!
I adore my first purchase from the Basket Lady! We bought the oval laundry basket in the traditional color. It reminds me of my childhood, only the quality is even better than the basket we had — which lasted 40 years! One thing I noticed right away is that the rattan smelled lovely, like the great outdoors.
It is often difficult to tell the quality and scale of items to purchase online, but this basket came in the perfect size and I'm very happy with the quality. Bonus-it is beautiful ;-)

Great item for use. Good size and quality
I ordered the two baskets that nest, with the lid, with the leather strip to close. So, I got the baskets, and sadly the leather was fairly badly scratched, and a few other tidbits so I wrote, instant communication. Sent these back but I put some notes in there to offer suggestions on how to prevent this from happening. The box was too small and just in shipping pieces rubbed together and then scratched. Well, they read my notes , got a quick return on two beautiful, perfect pieces . Is that not customer service you wish every company would follow? They took the time and put out the effort and I just love my new baskets. The leather smelled wonderful and the baskets were perfect. thank you.
