We use this in our home office as we have both trash and paper to toss, and having two bins in one is much better than sorting it all by hand (ick) when it's time to empty the wastebasket, in addition to being much more sightly than a plastic bucket. It also frees up space in our kitchen recycle bin for glass, metal and plastic. This could have other uses as well such as a small laundry hamper for pre-sorting; my husband actually refers to it as the "laundry basket"!

I have a small house and the only area where a trash can would fit in our kitchen is in the view of entering our home and when you are sitting in our living room. I really didn't want to look at a trash can all the time so kept brainstorming solutions. I was relieved to find this option because it looks way better and prevents an eye sore. Also, it’s the same price as a standard stainless steel trash can, so it was an easy purchase decision on many levels!

The basket is very well made. I absolutely love the two separate metal bins because I can put a bag in just one bin if I want and a standard 13-gallon trash bag works for it. It fits my needs perfectly!
