These baskets could really be called storage trunks with a lift-off lid. Each basket starts out as a pole frame, just like a piece of fine furniture. Then they are woven by our finest group of artisan weavers using three different weave styles. A wood bottom is securely attached for durability.

I just got my jumbo basket in toasted oat and I couldn't be more pleased! It is the perfect size to store all our family room throws, and I wanted one with a cover since not all of them are pretty. This is absolutely the perfect size. I was also pleased with how well made this basket is and that it is lined. I would definitely order from The Basket Lady again!

My husband, 3-year-old twin boys, 75-lb dog, and I live in a very small (890 sq. ft.) home, so storage is of the utmost importance. I bought the medium size lidded basket to hold our recyclable newspapers when the boys were infants, and now we use it for miscellaneous toys in the living room. It's sturdy, beautiful, and so useful. I LOVE it. The only bummer is that the bar on the underside of the lid broke (but that was because my toddlers decided to stand on it). I wish I could buy just a replacement lid, but I will happily buy a second one and put the first one elsewhere (minus the lid). We also bought several narrow baskets for some narrow shelves in the bathroom, and they've been perfect. I highly recommend The Basket Lady!!

I purchased the larger of this style basket. It arrived yesterday (quick shipping). I have dark wood tables in my living room, and this fits in perfectly. The fabric of the lining is also dark, so it does not detract or compete with the color of the basket. It's just perfect to hold my knitting/crochet projects. I recommend the Basket Lady highly; thanx!

I received my beautiful baskets today, and I am delighted with them! They are so well made that I no longer want to put them in a spare bedroom as I first planned. I feel they should go in a our family room where they will be truly appreciated daily. Thank you for selling such a quality product. I bought the set 'large and medium' about a week ago. Could not be happier. These baskets are as advertised and with the best quality. Also bought a couple of tissue baskets for the bathroom that I am just as happy with. Very fast shipping got the baskets in a couple of days.
