So happy to have found this waste basket. Practical but easy on the eye!
I love it! When I had my plumber put in a reverse osmosis under my kitchen sink I lost all that space for my ugly plastic rubbish bin. I started looking around for something that would fit in with my decor since I knew it was gong to have to sit out. It’s the perfect solution. Someone even said it reminded them of an old fashion fly fishing gear holder.
Exactly what I searched for and found. Very classy appearance for a kitchen trash receptacle and functional design.
A nice piece. I got it for a house warming gift to use a recycle bin. I’m in a condo so space is tight and I needed a bin the could be visible and not ugly. This fits the bill quite well.
Im deducting one star for the liner. As others have said, the metal liner is very thin and when you throw in ANYTHING of any weight into it resembles a tin gong.
Don’t you dare drop in anything glass or metal if the bottom is not filled with paper products already to deaden the noise.
It is SOOOOO loud and obnoxious that I actually consider it unusable in its current state. I already added a half inch thick piece of foam to the bottom using spray adhesive and it is not nearly enough. It needs to be completely wrapped in something or perhaps sprayed with that rubber stuff they advertise on TV all the time.
Maybe I’ll try to find a plastic trash bin to trim to size to fit inside it and just replace the metal entirely. Whatever the case, it’s a massive problem that should be addressed. This is not a cheap item. There certainly can be a better solution from the maker at this price point.
